Jay K. Chitnis, CFA is Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist at YieldQuest, and Portfolio Manager of the YieldQuest Funds. Jay leads the team that provides portfolio management services to more than 150 registered investment advisors across the country. Most of Jay's institutional clients have been nationally recognized and have been cited by numerous publications as being some of the top investment advisors in America. Jay also heads YieldQuest's Investment Committee, which meets regularly to discuss macro events and micro investment ideas that shape YieldQuest's strategies and determine the various model allocations. Jay is well versed in all areas of the financial markets, and focuses particularly on the macro environment and how the implications factor down to the various fixed-income and equity sectors in our investment universe. Over the years, Jay has developed proprietary fixed-income and equity investment models that seek to outperform the market on a risk adjusted basis. He has written several published articles on these topics, and has been quoted in numerous publications, including Business Week, Fortune, and Smart Money, as well as many other trade publications. Jay is also a popular speaker, and is frequently asked to present his ideas and strategies at institutional investment conferences across the country.

Prior to founding the YieldQuest group of companies, Jay worked in the fixed-income markets at CIBC Oppenheimer, Morgan Stanley, and Salomon Brothers in New York. Jay obtained his BS in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and his Master's Degree in Economics at NYU.

David Summers, CFA is Managing Director of YieldQuest Securities and YieldQuest Advisors, and has been with the firm since June of 1998. Dave’s primary focus is the day to day management of YieldQuest Securities, as well as working closely with many of the firm’s top advisor clients. David is well versed in many areas of the financial markets, and is also a senior member of the YieldQuest Investment Committee. David has shared his expertise in the fixed-income area at numerous conferences and seminars across the country. His audiences have included many AAII chapters, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and a variety of institutional money managers, including many of the Worth 100 top money managers. David is often quoted in the financial media, including Fortune, CNN Money, and other national online publications.

A CFA charter holder, David earned a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A., both from Georgia State University. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Audrey, and their daughters Camille and Charlotte.

Joseph Patire

Joseph Patire is Managing Director of YieldQuest Securities, and has been with the firm since inception in early 1998. Joe is head of fixed-income trading at YieldQuest, overseeing the firm’s trading activity in all municipal and taxable fixed-income securities. In addition, Joe also works with many of the firm’s top advisor clients, specializing in the fixed-income markets. As a senior member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Joe brings his fixed-income expertise to bear in deciding upon and implementing the firm's fixed-income strategies. Joe is frequently quoted in the financial media, including Fortune, CNN Money, the Wall Street Journal, and other national online publications.

Joe received his B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. In his spare time, Joe enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with family.

John Bliss is a Senior Vice President of YieldQuest Securities and YieldQuest Advisors, and has been with the firm since the summer of 2001. John is Director of Equity Research at the YieldQuest group of companies, with a primary focus on the domestic markets. In addition to his extensive work on the equity side, he also leads the team that performs much of the credit analysis at YieldQuest. John also coordinates the monthly client conference calls as well as the topics covered in the monthly YieldQuest commentaries, and is a senior member of YieldQuest’s Investment Committee.

John earned a BBA from the University of Georgia and enjoys spending time with his wife, Virginia and their daughter, Suzanne.

Cameron Parkhurst is Vice President of YieldQuest Securities and YieldQuest Advisors, and has been with the firm since early 2001. Cameron's main focus is in new business development, where he coordinates the firm's efforts to seek out select partnerships with new advisory firms and institutions. In addition, Cameron works with many of the firms institutional clients in the fixed-income area. Prior to heading the new business development team, Cameron spent four years in fixed-income trading at YieldQuest, and is well versed in this area. Cameron is also a member of the firm's Investment Committee.

Cameron received his B.S. degree from the University of Florida. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys travel, golf, and salt water fishing.

Al Hermon is a Vice President of YieldQuest Securities and YieldQuest Advisors, joining the firm 2004. Al specializes in and leads the team that is responsible for technical application development including MPT reporting tools, SQL/Bloomberg interface, and many other sophisticated reporting and research tools that YieldQuest uses on a daily basis. His special technical competencies are utilized throughout Yieldquest to manipulate and analyze a vast amount of market data efficiently. In addition to these technical specialties, Al also focuses on the global fixed-income and equity markets, bringing his work in these areas to the YieldQuest Investment Committee, where he is a senior member.

Al received his BS degree in Electronics from Southern Illinois University, and two MBA degrees in Operations and Finance- both from Kennesaw State University of Georgia.

Edward Kim is a Vice President of YieldQuest Securities and YieldQuest Advisors, joining the firm in early 2003. Ed specializes in municipal and high grade taxable fixed-income trading and research, as well as working with advisor clients in the fixed-income area. Edward is also a member of the YieldQuest Investment Committee, where he shares his extensive insight into the fixed-income trading markets.

He received his BBA degree from Goizueta Business School at Emory University with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. Prior to joining YieldQuest, Edward had interned at a number of top Wall Street firms. Outside of YieldQuest, Ed enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and traveling.

Chief Compliance Officer

Gary Schwartz is Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for YieldQuest Securities, LLC and the YieldQuest Funds. Gary joined YieldQuest in 2005, and also assumes many of the compliance responsibilities at YieldQuest Advisors. In addition to his voluminous compliance task list, Gary acts in a similar capacity to a chief operations officer, often times coordinating the inter-related functionality of the administrative, human resources, finance, and legal departments.

Prior to working at YieldQuest, Gary was a Regional Manager at Protrader Securities, an Instinet Company, where he oversaw the five regional offices of the Southeast. Within the Atlanta Protrader office, Gary served as the Branch Manager and Registered Options Principal. Gary first entered the financial industry in 1995 at Sterne, Agee and Leach, Inc., where he worked as an OTC trader. He holds a marketing degree from Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. In his spare time, Gary enjoys spending time with this wife and two children, as well as golf and traveling.
