We believe YieldQuest Select® offers the potential for a win/win/win - benefiting your clients, your firm, and YieldQuest. Some advisors have asked us why we seek to limit our client base, or wonder whether this is more than simply a marketing angle. We believe YieldQuest Select® can benefit the above parties in the following ways:

How can YieldQuest Select® Benefit Your Clients?

Given our fairly limited distribution model, only a small fraction of the advisory marketplace will have access to YieldQuest ideas, strategies and products. In addition, our strategies and products are not available on any large brokerage house platforms. This means that the vast majority of the investing public will not have access to YieldQuest. By working with a YieldQuest Select® member firm, individual investor clients may benefit from our potentially favorable risk and fee-adjusted performance.

Additionally, we have a variety of educational tools and strategy pieces available to you on the YieldQuest Portal, which may be shared with your individual investor clients. Also, given the greater degree of transparency and communication we provide to our client partners, many advisors have found it easier to gain a comfort level with our strategies. This lends itself to individual investor clients potentially having an additional “layer of comfort” with their overall portfolio.

How can YieldQuest Select® Benefit Your Firm?

We believe YieldQuest Select® may benefit your firm in a number of ways. Primarily, we believe the upgrade in communication and transparency alone differentiates YieldQuest from the rest of our competitors. We encourage you to review the client communication section of this site for much more information on some of these initiatives. In addition, YieldQuest Select® firms have direct access to portfolio managers and key YieldQuest staff – allowing them the ability for direct communication with decision makers, whenever they feel it necessary. This is not something most of our competitors can offer.

From a business perspective, working with YieldQuest may also allow you to spend more time on important client-related matters. Many of our advisor partners view us as an extension of their investment committee or, to some degree, an outsource partner on the investment side. By offloading some of these investment-related items to us, or simply by utilizing many of the tools we provide, advisors may find they have more time to focus on other important client and business related issues.

Finally, we aid our clients with prospective client portfolio reviews and recommendations. Many of these detailed reviews have led to new business for our advisor partners – with some advisory firms even crediting us for significantly helping them grow their business.
